About Me

- My daughter & I share so much and are so much alike. We have always teased each other with the words, "apple don't fall far from the tree". Thus, the name of my blog. We are now sharing a journey to better health. I am 58 years old and Molly is 31. We are both undergoing weightloss surgery and the purpose of this blog is to track and share my progress. I will share Molly's progress with you only as she gives me permission to do so. My surgery, gastric bypass is scheduled for July 21, 2008 in Post Falls, Idaho. Molly had lapband surgery June 27, 2008 in San Diego. I will attempt to post some pictures as well. Love & support from family and friends is very important to us. We are both lucky to have husbands who support us 100% in the path we have chosen to take.
